About Me

My name is Rev. Loren McGrail. I am a UCC pastor who served as a mission co-worker with Global Ministries of the United Church of Christ and the Christian Disciples of Christ for five years in Israel/Palestine.

I began this blog in 2011 when I first went to Palestine/Israel as an Ecumenical Accompanier for the Ecumenical Accompaniment Program of Palestine/Israel.

I have kept writing ever since as a way to process my thoughts, feelings, experiences, and witness of life under a military occupation. This blog includes sermons and liturgies, prayers and poems, I have written over those five years.
